Draw clean arches, circles and half circles with string, a pencil and a few bowls, then paint them or cut them from paper. Includes centering, even band widths and three balanced layouts.
Score and fold small paper squares into identical pyramids or tents, then mount them on a pencil grid in one color or a gradient so light and shadow form the pattern.
Draw a pencil grid, add one diagonal per square, and plan three or four colors on a thumbnail so no matching triangles touch. Then paint the pattern or fill it with cut paper.
